Sunday Social

I’ve decided that this week I’m going to participate in another Sunday Social. I think I’m going to participate in these kind of linkups because it will let you get to know me better.

This week’s theme is Spring and as always with the Sunday Socials I’m linking up with Ashley and Neely.

My favorite thing about spring is the rain. I love a nice drizzly rain but during the summer that kind of weather instead of cooling tends to be rather humid. During the spring though it’s usually a nice cooling rain.

I don’t grow flowers, I usually forget to water them and then I become a sad panda. I tend to be the nontypical girl on the receiving end because I hate to receive roses. Usually because it takes no effort to go into a florist and order a dozen roses. Yeah your just spent a tons of money but you put no thought or effort into it. I’d rather get flowers that cost less but had more thought put into them. That being said my favorite flower to receive are daisies.

My favorite nail polish for spring/summer is Cute as a Button by Essie.

I kind of think the reason for this isn’t because it’s such a pretty pink but what I had to go through to get this polish.

My favorite nail polish right now though is Gold Coin by Revlon. It’s gorgeous and I’m so in love with it right now.

This question was the easiest question I’ve ever answered. Hands down without a second thought is swimming. Give me a pool filled with clean chlorine water that’s a nice warm temperature and I’ll be your friend forever.

The last question for this week was way harder for me to answer than the previous one. Travis and I don’t really plan vacations because of Lila, she can’t be kenneled or left alone. Therefore, anything we do is usually only for a day or so and based around my mother-in-laws availability to come stay with her.  That being said I think it has been mentioned that she may come stay with her for a day or two towards the end of spring so we can go to Edisto Beach. FYI I’ve been told that while tourists go to Myrtle Beach, Edisto Beach is the South Carolinian’s secret spot because it’s so much nicer and with a lot less people. Shhh don’t tell anyone I told you.

    I am really hoping we can go camping for the first time this year. That way no problem taking our dog with us. I love that nail polish color! I think I am going to have to go get some soon. I agree with the flower things. My husband picked some on the side of the road for me one time and it was super sweet. Yes, Myrtle Beach is ridiculous.
