When it comes to conferences and conventions there is one thing that is pretty much a necessity it seems, business cards. Exchanging business cards with other bloggers and with brand ambassadors at these groupings is a way to ensure that they’ll remember you. Another way for them to remember you is to have a snazzy business card holder that you get those cards out of instead of just a pocket. Even better if it is unique.

Here is a roundup of different tutorials that feature business card holders.
The first project is a Ruffled Business Card Holder from The Crafty Cupboard
This is a cute little business card that offers a unique, crafty perspective by putting a rouched ribbon on the outside. With the pairing of fabrics for the holder and for the ribbon I think you could get really crazy unique with this one.
The second project is also by The Crafty Cupboard and is her regular Business Card Holder
Melanie did this tutorial before doing the ruffled business card holder but it’s essentially the same tutorial minus the ruffle. This would be a great one if you felt the ribbon was a bit much or didn’t fit your type of blog. I already have this bookmarked with plans on making one for myself.
The third project is another basic Business Card Holder by Schlosser Designs
This one is similar to the one that The Crafty Cupboard did without the button and elastic loop. This would be great for the beginner crafter who is unsure about sewing buttons and elastic cording.
The fourth project is for the crocheters out there and it is a Shell Stitch Business Card Holder by Crochet Dynamite
For those who know how to crochet this is a super cute business card pouch, it’s like a mini bag, that you can alternate depending on your skill level. Basic crocheters could stick with just one color while more advanced crocheters could use multiple colors and add-ons.
The last of the craft business card holders is the Business Card Holder/Luggage Tag by Flamingo Toes
Next to the basic business card holder by The Crafty Cupboard this one is my favorite. I may make one of these for myself. Essentially it is a little business card holder that you can loop around the handle of your purse so not only will you know which purse is yours but when you walk by people will know who you are.
The next project is more of DIY and it is a Business Card Holder from an Altoids Tin by Crafting a Green World
This is a great project if you have any Altoid tins just running around your house. The business cards fit in there perfectly, from the look of the project, and with a little Mod Podge and something to attach to the tin it’s easily customizable. Some ideas of what to put on your tin could be pictures of your recipes, your name and blog name, you could also just paint it and paint your name/blog on top.
The very last project in this roundup is less of a project and more of an idea of what to do with all those business cards you’ll be receiving. Genius Business Card Holder by The Divine Miss Mommy
This is such a great tip, just bring a round ring (that opens) and a hole punch. Every time someone gives you a card, hole punch that sucker and pop it straight on the ring for safe keeping. To make extra sure that they dont fall off, as sometimes punching holes can weaken paper, invest in some hole protectors and pop one of those on before placing on the ring. Voila, a handy dandy business card keeper.
Hopefully you enjoyed this roundup. I may do more of these, it depends on how the ideas hit me. If you try one of these projects please head over to the blog of that project and let them know you tried their project and loved it.
Which project looks like fun to you?
