For those of you who don’t know what Influenster is, it is essnetially a website where you do reviews in areas you have knowledge to build up a badge score. Periodically Influenster will send out themed boxes, called VoxBoxes, and people who have an influence in that area will receive this. For example if they put out another Beauty VoxBox people who have a high beauty influence score will be top on the list to receive it. Sometimes though they just put out random boxes and random people get them.
The Sugar ‘n Spice VoxBox is one of the random boxes. There really was no theme to the box so random active people were the ones who received them. I happened to be one of the lucky ones who received this box. Just so we are clear: INFLUENSTER SENT ME THESE ITEMS TO REVIEW HOWEVER THE OPINIONS STATED IN THIS POST AND ANY POSTS HERE AFTER ARE 100% MY OWN. Now lets jump into this box full of goodies.
The first item in my box was Splenda Nectresse. This is a new sugar substitute put out by, obviously, Splenda that is made of Monk Fruit. To be honest I have no idea what that is nor have I had the opportunity to try this product yet. I think I may have my mother-in-law try it this evening when she comes down.
The next item that I received in my box was actually a series of items, the Colgate Optic White Set. This set included a full tube of toothpaste, a regular sized bottle of mouthwash, and toothbrush.
As you can see the toothbrush has some groovy bristles going on and a nice cheek scrubber on the back, that isn’t pictured. I have already tried this and I am absolutely in love with this toothbrush the toothpaste and mouthwash on the other hand are a different story. I have very very sensitive teeth and these burned my gums quite a bit. I am going to keep using them for awhile to see if that lessens or to see if there is enough of an improvement to warrant the stinging.
The next item in my box were these Dickinson’s Oil Controlling Towelettes. I have briefly tried these and I have to say that I like them and I dislike them. I’ll start with the things that I dislike about them since there are only two of them. The first thing I dislike about them is the smell, I really dislike the smell of Witch Hazel it would seem but it goes away after a few minutes so it isn’t that bad. The second thing I dislike about these were that they do sting a bit if you have a small cut or any fresh acne on your face.
There are so many things I like about these though; they are soft, they have a nice wetness to them, they leave my face feeling refreshed once that sting goes away, but most of all I love how they come in these handy little packages inside of the box so it makes them easy to throw them in your purse and go.
The next item in my box was this Spray and Go Moisturizer by Vaseline. This is a new product and it is a very interesting concept. I’ve only used it once and it did leave my hands soft but most of the spray wound up going past what I was spraying and onto my dog, so aim is not a product plus. I do plan on working with it a bit more before I really say anything about this product.
The last product in the box is my absolute favorite of anything I’ve received in an Influenster box and that is a package of belVita Breakfast Biscuits in the flavor Cinnamon Brown Sugar. I loved these so much I actually went to the grocery store the other day and bought a full box of the Blueberry flavored ones… and I HATE blueberry! These are small enough you can pop them in your purse to eat on the go, they are super easy and not messy so great for eating on the run, however they can also be enjoyed leisurely with a cup of coffee (or milk which is what I did and I’ve had them on the go and leisurely), they are fulfilling and oh so yummy.
That is everything I got in my box if you would like to see these in video format you can go see the youtube video here.
As previously stated, I was sent these products for free to review. However, the opinions are all my own.
