Subscription Box: September Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing
Details: Beauty Subscription Service | Sample-Size Products | 5 Products | Pick 1 of 5 Products | Reusable Bag
No, that is not a typo in the heading. This is in fact the September Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing and not the Glam Bag PLUS Unboxing. That post will, hopefully, be up on Thursday. Yes, that does mean that I subscribed to ANOTHER subscription box. In my defense though, I might be getting rid of Birchbox in December… Anywho, if you would like to see what I got in my regular September Ipsy bag, just keep scrolling.
About Ipsy Glam Bag Subscription
Before we jump into what I got, let me explain a little bit about the Ipsy subscription. The regular Ipsy Bag is $13 month, comes in a small bag, and has mostly sample-size products. With the regular Ipsy Bag you get to choose one of the 5 products that you receive. In addition, you can choose add-ons for an additional cost that you can add to your bag. These can range from other sample-size products for $3 to full-size products from $12 – $18. Lastly, if you are subscribed to the regular Ipsy subscription you also have access to Ipsy Offers which are different types of products and bundles at a highly discounted price. You can find haircare, skincare, makeup, and other products at highly discounted prices. Stay tuned for more information about that as I will be reviewing multiple products that I have picked up from the Ipsy Offers section.
The first product in my September Ipsy Bag was the Enature Face Masks. These are sheet masks that are good for all skin types.
Pūrlisse BB Cream
The next product in my September Ipsy Bag was the Pūrlisse Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream. This is a BB Cream that has a luminous finish.
The next product in my September Ipsy Bag was the IBY Eyeshadow Duos in Auberge and Bon Voyage. This is a duo of a cranberry matte with a rose gold shimmer.
The next product in my September Ipsy Bag was the SLMissGlam Blender Brush. This is a blending eye shadow brush.
Bobbi Brown Primer
The last product in my September Ipsy Bag was the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Priming Moisturizer. This is a primer/moisturizer that smoothes the skin while providing hydration.

Final Thoughts on the September Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing
I need to start out by saying that this bag was under the promised value of the bag. The promised value was $55, however, as you see above the actual value wound up being $45.17. That being said, the personal value of the September Ipsy Bag was quite high. I have received IBY products in the past and enjoy them, I am never one to turn down most brushes, and the Bobbi Brown Face Base has been on my wishlist for a LONG time. The only products that are not “alert the presses”, amazing for me are the Enature masks and the Pūrlisse BB cream. However, that is not because I do not like these products. It is more because I have so many masks and complexion products that I have to work through. For my first regular Ipsy bag, this was not bad at all.

Wait, do you subscribe to BOTH the regular Ipsy bag and the Ipsy Plus??? If so, why? But truth be told, I miss the regular Ipsy makeup bags because they’re so darn cute and so incredibly useful. I get why they switched Plus to drawstring bags, but I just don’t like them as much. Speaking of your Ipsy this month, it was a good bag regardless of the actual $ value. I would love that Bobbi Brown primer!
I somehow managed to be subscribed to regular Ipsy, Ipsy Plus, AND Ipsy X… I started out with Plus but with travel picking back up and some of the deluxe samples sampled in regular Ipsy, I decided to add that. For me regular Ipsy offsets Birchbox as I WILL be canceling that after my 12th-month charges (November). I have to say that the bags for the regular Ipsy are way cuter than the ones for Plus.
So many wonderful products included, I have to look into trying some of these.

This is a good box of items. My favorite is the green squeeze package.
This seems like a good bag for $13. I always get use out of brushes and am happy to see them in subscriptions. I think the companies value things higher than they actually are.

Ipsy is so fun! I had a subscription for awhile and then had to stop for finanical reasons. But I got a lot of my favorite things plus such cute little bags they come in!
Lola Seicento says
It’s too bad that they sent you an undervalued bag! I wonder if they are trying to sneak in the remainder as the value of the makeup bag?
You got some really nice items. I used to have Ipsy but it’s been a couple of years, might have to try it again.

I love everything that’s included in the box. Sea like a great deal to have.
Never heard of the Ipsy Bag subscription but all the goodies look amazing. I’d love to try that BB cream.
Even though it was under the declared value, still a pretty good deal eh? So many good products in there!
I’m glad that you got some items that you really like this month!
Such an affordable price for such a great product! Love the Bobbi Brown primer!
