Beauty Bakerie claims that their lip glosses are long-lasting and non-sticky. They also claim that their glosses are hydrating. The Holy Cannoli Lip Gloss comes in a frosted glass bottle with a metallic lid. There is an angled applicator that comes to a point. The ingredients for the Beauty Bakerie Lip Glosses are:
Beauty Bakerie Lip Gloss in Holy Cannoli Review
Before we talk about the formula, can we take a moment and talk about the applicator? I love applicators like this and I wish more brands would use them. The pointed tip allows for applying across the lips without going over the lip line. The flatness of the applicator allows for a nice spreading of the product once it touches the lips. Lastly, the slight bend in the applicator allows for more control when getting towards the sides of the mouth.
Now let’s talk about the formula. I do have to agree with several of Beauty Bakerie’s claims about their glosses. Even with the shimmer/glitter in it, it is a very hydrating gloss. Honestly, more hydrating than a lot of balms I have tried lately. While it does look “gloopy” it is in fact not. It goes on the lips and makes them look plump without actually plumping them. The shimmer/glitter makes the lips look alive but does not feel gritty on the lips. The only thing to note is that this is NOT an opaque gloss. Holy Cannoli is specifically a clear gloss with a lot of golden shimmer in it.
Final Thoughts on the Holy Cannoli Lip Gloss
I do want to mention that this lip gloss does have a fragrance to it, however, it is very light and fades quickly. Also, in the ingredients, it is actually listed as “flavor (aroma)” so I do not know if that matters for those who may be sensitive to fragrance in products. Other than that, I think this is an amazing gloss if you like glosses that give that little oomph to the lips without adding a lot of color to the lips.

And I like that kind of applicator as well. I am a fan of opaque glosses because I wear them instead of lipstick, so that particular shimmery sheer-ish gloss might not suit me.
