Beauty Spotlight Team Weekly Roundup: Late Edition

Today is Monday and usually I have the Beauty Spotlight Team Weekly Roundup up on Saturday, Sunday at the latest. Today was also supposed to be the start of my Swatch My Collection that I announced last Monday. However, Friday the Hubs had a spell with his heart. He got really, really cold, to the point that his finger tips and lips were purple. We had the heat on in 100 degree California weather, he had sweatpants on, a jacket on, and he was under like five heavy blankets. We took his temperature and it was normal and then he started throwing up anything we put in him. By the middle of the day he was heading back to normal and by Saturday morning he was no longer super cold but he was weak and it threw off all of our plans. Hence, why this is late.

Let me know in the comments down below if you’d rather I wait until “Mani Monday” to start the swatching. Or since I have it, would you rather see the first polish this week? Also, let me know which post from the roundup was your favorite this week!

Lola’s Secret Beauty Blog discovered the Suki Skincare Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser and Sensitive Cleanser Bar Value Set (buy the cleanser and receive the bar for free), and it is such a great deal that I have already purchased one, and am going back for another!

Prime Beauty will be using the Too Faced Sugar Peach Shimmering Eye and Face Palette for glowy, fresh summery looks this season!

Like it or not, safety masks are with us for a long time to come so they might as well be comfortable and fashionable. Beauty Info Zone has a variety by Hoo-rag that has Marcia thrilled enough that she already bought additional ones.

It’s not always the easiest to get excited about lip colour with having to wear a mask when you go out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate colour at home! Doubledown Cosmetics recently launched three new lip glosses, and Jen from Laugh, Love, Contour has them up on her blog this week. These lipglosses are pigmented, flattering, and include 14 certified organic ingredients. Check out Jen’s post, and who knows, maybe you’ll always want to be wearing one whenever you are sans mask!

Have you been dying to try the stunning professional eyeshadow palettes from Viseart, but you’ve balked at the $80 price tag? Never Say Die Beauty shares her experience with and swatches from the travel size Viseart Paris Edit that may be just what you’re looking for!

Did you know that the e.l.f. Bite Size Palettes are only $3.00? There are swatches and a review of the Rose Water palette on Southeast by Midwest.

In case you missed it, Erika at Notes from my Dressing Table shared the perfect summer fragrance. Have you tried it?

If you’re going through some stage of menopause, you’ll want to check out Stacie’s tips for dealing with the symptoms on The Makeup Obsessed Mom Blog.
