It is the end of May. After a month that felt like 5 years, I’m kind of scared of what June is going to bring us. More and more states are opening back up. However, they are doing so with Covid still being active and with no vaccine on the near horizon. However, I’m more scared that we’re in a situation where unarmed POC are being killed or threatened and so many people don’t see why POC and their allies are upset over this. I’m scared of how this is going to end if both groups are pitted against each other. However, I’m more scared of what will happen if POC fallback and allow this to fade away.
