Recently Pixi sent me another lovely package that included the Pixi Eye Reflections Palettes and some brushes. I was so surprise and thrilled to receive this package because I’ve been wishing for some more Pixi brushes. However, this post is about the Pixi Eye Reflections Palettes and not the brushes. If you’d like to know more about these palettes and my thoughts on them check out the video below or just keep scrolling!
About the Pixi Eye Reflections Palettes
The three different Pixi Eye Reflections Palettes are 12 pan eye shadow palettes that retail for $24.00 each and can be purchased at Pixi or Target. The two that I received were the Reflex Light, an all shimmer palette, and the Natural Beauty, a mix of matte and shimmer palette. The shadows in these palettes are supposed to be blendable, highly pigmented, long wearing, and have unique textures that make for a 3D effect on the eyes.
Pixi Eye Reflections Palette: Reflex Light
The first Pixi Eye Reflections Palette that I received was the Reflex Light Palette. The shades in the Reflex Light are as follows, from left to right: Vanilla Glitz, Nude Lustre, and Gold Foil in the top row. Pink Lustre, Vintage Gold, and Brilliant Bronze in the second row. 3D Peach, Auburn Blaze, and Copper Penny in the third row. Lastly; Antique Bronze, Chestnut Glimmer, and Cocoa Glaze in the bottom row. You can purchase the Reflex Light Palette at Target and Pixi Beauty.
As you can see, and as I mentioned, these are all shimmer shadows. What I love most about these shades is that while they are all shimmers, some of the shades look like they are actually moving on the skin. My favorite shades in this palette are Pink Lustre, Auburn Blaze, Antique Bronze, and Cocoa Glaze but none of them are bad shades or rank in a “least favorite” option.
Pixi Eye Reflections Palette: Natural Beauty
The second Pixi Eye Reflections Palette that I received was the Natural Beauty Palette. The shades in the Natural Beauty Palette are as follows, from left to right: Sheer Sand, Metal Mauve, and Petal in the top row. Antique Rose, Rose Clay, and Metallic Rose in the second row. Deep Taupe, Foiled Bronze, and Soft Brown in the third row. Lastly; Chocolate Brown, Cocoa Shimmer, and Bronze Gleam in the bottom row. The Natural Beauty Palette can be purchased at Target and Pixi Beauty.
The Natural Beauty palette is a mix of matte and shimmers and they all perform perfectly on the eyes and with each other. The mattes are pigmented and buttery and not at all dry while the shimmers aren’t patchy in the slightest. My favorite shades from the Natural Beauty Palette are Rose Clay, Foiled Bronze, and Bronze Gleam with Bronze Gleam being my favorite i the whole palette!
Pixi Eye Reflections Palettes Final Thoughts
At $24.00 for each palette you’re probably thinking: “But WHICH one do I need Cassie?!” In all honesty this one comes down to your personal style. If you’re someone who loves shimmers and loves them in all shades, especially if you have other matte palettes or shadows you can bring in with this palette, then get the Reflex Light palette. However, if you like your palettes to come with both mattes and shimmers so you don’t have to go searching for other shadows or you’re just a fan of more natural palettes then the Natural Beauty Palette is the one you need. Although if you have the extra funds and you’re anything like me then I highly suggest thinking about picking up both of them because in all honesty they are both amazing palettes!

Both of these are really pretty and offer a lot of options. I don’t wear makeup, but I am always amazed by how it can change someone’s appearance.

I love the color of that palette. The light colors are always my favorite. I have been trying to learn from you on how to apply it properly but I am still struggling. Maybe someday I will figure it out.

I am loving all of those shades. I wouldn’t use the darker ones but those nude shades are perfect for me!
