Not to long ago the MAC x Mariah Carey Collection launched with a lot of hype. If you follow different beauty guru’s on Snapchat then you know that several of them were flown to NYC for a kind of launch party type thing. Along with that, MAC sent out PR packages to different people that consisted of a hat box with different products and oversized plastic gems. By the time the MAC x Mariah Carey Collection launched people were excited about the packaging, the names of the products, and the actual products themselves. I was able to snag three products when the collection launched a few weeks ago but instead of talking about them after only seeing them, I wanted to make sure to give them a thorough review. MAC x Mariah Carey Collection Review
The first of the three products that I managed to get my hands on was the super popular MAC x Mariah Carey Collection Lipstick in Dahhlinggg. Dahhlinggg is a creamsheen formula and is a peachy pink shade. The second of the three products that I picked up was one of the MAC x Mariah Carey Collection Blushes in You’ve Got Me Feeling. You’ve Got Me Feeling is a powder blush that is a bright pink shade. The last of the three products that I purchased was the MAC x Mariah Carey Collection Eyeshadow Quad in It’s Everything. It’s Everything is a quad that is made up of four eyeshadows ranging from a shimmer champagne shade to a dark matte shade.
There are more products that were released from this collection so if you don’t like what you see here, there is a chance that there may have been something released that you would like. However, to see if I think you should even give this collection a chance, check out the video above!

I really enjoy the shades available in the Mariah line, especially the neutral lip tones. The packaging is totally up my alley as well.

It’s cool that they decided to work together for this collection and I’m glad they stayed true to both names. The eyeshadows might be fun to experiment with.
You can’t go wrong with MAC. I actually didn’t know that they had teamed up with Mariah Carey. I’m heading over to see what the entire collection entails right now!

Although the packaging is gorgeous, I’d like to see more color from this collection. For example, the lipstick you received wouldn’t work on me at all.
I didn’t know MAC had a Mariah Carey collection! You got my attention with the packaging! Super elegant and Diva just like her. I think I want to try the blush. These would make such beautiful and special gifts.
