If it’s one thing that I love to do it’s to pick up a short book when I only have a little bit of time and give it a quick read through. I find that Harlequin books are perfect for this as they are shorter books so I don’t have to invest as much time but they usually still have good stories and who doesn’t love a little romance in their lives. Here are the June 2016 Harlequin releases.
One Night, Twin Consequences by Annie O’Neil

It’s something she’s always wanted to do…although her heart is wary of the irresistible off-limits doc. Shy Harriet isn’t used to taking anything for herself, and yet before they board the plane for Argentina, the chemistry between them combusts and they give in to just one night together…
But their night of recklessness isn’t without consequences. And now Harriet has nine months to melt this brooding doctor’s heart!
One Night, Twin Consequences released June 1st making it the first of the June Harlequin releases. One Night, Twin Consequences is part of Harlequin’s Medical Romance Line of books and is the first in a new miniseries titled “The Monticello Baby Miracles” which is about Harriet and her twin sister. The Medical Romance novels are about medical professionals and falling in love in a medical setting.

The thief, a mysterious woman named Paris, claims the bottle is rightfully hers. After all, the label itself says it’s property of the Maddox family who owned and operated Red Thread Bourbon distillery since the last days of the Civil War until the company went out of business for reasons no one knows… No one except Paris.
In the small hours of a Louisville morning, Paris unspools the lurid tale of Tamara Maddox, heiress to the distillery that became an empire. But the family tree is rooted in tainted soil and has borne rotten fruit. Theirs is a legacy of wealth and power, but also of lies, secrets and sins of omission. The Maddoxes have bourbon in their blood—and blood in their bourbon. Why Paris wants the bottle of Red Thread remains a secret until the truth of her identity is at last revealed, and the century-old vengeance Tamara vowed against her family can finally be completed.
The Bourbon Thief is the second June 28th Harlequin release. The Bourbon Thief is part of the MIRA line and is not part of any series. The MIRA novels are novels by the “brightest stars” in adult fiction. These books are essentially the “Contemporary Women” novels.
