If you remember back to my Target Beauty Box Unboxing then you know that the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray was my sole reason for getting the box. I had seen it in stores for about $13 – $17 but didn’t want to lay down that much for a product that wouldn’t work, however, only paying $5 for it and other products I could do. So I got the Target Beauty Box so that I could test out the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray. How does it work? Would I pay the full-price for it? Keep reading to find out.

Before we discuss how the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray works, let’s discuss the packaging and directions. The bottle is hard opaque plastic with a plastic cap. Once uncapped you’ll find that the dispenser is a typical spray nozzle. All of these aspects are what you would find in a typical setting spray, however, if you notice the bottle for the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray is very round while the nozzle is skinny and in the center. The directions on the bottle say to spray 4-times in a X and T motion. I found this to be way to much for me and instead just held the bottle in front of me and misted 2-3 times.
Now that we’ve discussed the packaging and how I applied the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray let’s discuss if it actually works. I found that the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray was actually one of the best setting sprays that I have tried. I have used both NYX setting sprays and one from Urban Decay to name a few and all the ones I have tried previously have had one thing in common, they always change the texture of my makeup. This is not the case with the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray. I used it on a dewy/luminous look and on a matte look and both came out looking the way that they did before I misted myself with the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray. This did not cake my makeup at all it just made it last longer. It does have a light scent, however, that goes away as the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray dries and really it just smells like setting spray, if that makes sense.
Was the product worth it? Yes. Would I repurchase it at the $13 – $17 price point? Yes, multiple times over. I think the L’Oreal Infallible Setting Spray is now my go-to setting spray.

You should try Mary Kay’s finishing spray when you’re finished with this product. There’s no scent, it’s refreshing, and it lasts all day!!
