It’s time for the December Birchbox which means we’re finally catching up! Before we jump into what I got in this month’s box let me explain something first. Birchbox has started something new where each month they are offering a special curated box. For the month of December the specially curated box theme was “Party-Ready” and was curated by Lo Bosworth.

One thing to note about the curated boxes is that they do not get the “No Double Samples” promise. If you pick the curated box there is a possibility that you will get samples that you have already gotten, I got two repeats in the December Birchbox, and they won’t give you points for the mistake.
Cynthia Rowley Creamy Lip Stain
The first item in my December Birchbox was a mini Cynthia Rowley Creamy Lip Stain in Sugar. I don’t know where to start with how much I love this product. While this was a mini it’s still a nice size sample that I will get several uses out of it to make sure that I like. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, I love the clear lower packaging that allows you to see the shade and the black cap with gold circles is stunning. As for the product itself it’s super creamy, long lasting and not sticky at all.

Embryolisse Moisturizer
The second item in my December Birchbox was a Embryolisse Moisturizer. While this is the one of the repeats I mentioned I’m not sad by it in the slightest. This is one of my favorite moisturizers of all time.

Folle de Joie Perfume
The third item in my December Birchbox was a mini spritz bottle of Folle de Joie Eau de Parfum. I’m not a big fan of perfume samples as I’m very picky about what scents that I wear. However, my mother-in-law really enjoyed this when I received it in another Birchbox so for those who do like perfume it’s not that bad.

Ruffian Nail Lacquer
The fourth item in my December Birchbox was a Ruffian Nail Lacquer in Ruffian Red, this was actually a full size item! I’ve received another Ruffian Nail Lacquer in another box (different shade of course) and it has a really good formula.

Davines Hair Products
The last item that was in my December Birchbox was actually a combo item. I received the Davines Replumping Superactive as my fifth item in my box. I wish Birchbox would package more of the hair products that they put into their boxes like this. It had a nice sturdy bottle and a spritz applicator. You’re supposed to apply the Davines Replumping Superactive to the ends of your hair to fortify them and leave them looking shiny.

Since I got the Davines Replumping Superactive in my December Birchbox I also received the Davines Replumping Shampoo and the Davines Replumping Conditioner as bonus items. I know I’ve mentioned it before but I seriously HATE it when subscription boxes send me packets as one of my paid items. However, when they come as bonuses I can’t really complain as they are in addition to what I purchased. Also, with these they are big, and sturdy, enough that I can get several uses out of them to test it before I decide to purchase it or not.

My December Birchbox cost me $10 and I received $46.70 worth of products! My favorite item from this month’s box is the Embryolisse Moisturizer. I’ve received this in a previous box but was so happy to receive it again. My least favorite item from this months box was the Folle de Joie perfume sample as I’m not a big fan of most perfume samples. Don’t forget to keep coming back as the December Loot Crate and Glossybox still have to go up along with all the January boxes!
What a great deal, it sounds like you got tons of awesome products! I think when I am home in the US I will have to sign up for a birch box. Question though, do you have to pay shipping on top of the $10?
In the US for Birchbox you only pay the $10, there is no shipping added on.

I really do not wear make up anymore-I used to. I do love the color of that nail polish!! And the lip gloss looks like the perfect shade for me. Actually I do prefer sample sizes as I have sensitive skin and it is easier to just try a bit to see if I can use it or not before purchasing. I do believe samples should be sent for free.

Wow looks like this box was full of goodies. My favorite is the Cynthia Rowley satin lip gloss. It’s definiely something I would wear, love the color.

I used to check birchbox and back in the day enjoyed it until another better box started and i left, I have never heard of these products but I want to check out the moisturiser.

I’ve seen unboxings of the UK Birchbox and I’m always so jealous of the packaging. I totally wish we could get that nice of a box here in the States.
I love monthly boxes like this but I have never seen what is in the Birch box before. I love all of those products.
