Easy New Looks with Conair on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

I usually wear my hair one way, in a tight ponytail. However, lately the Hubs has been BEGGING me to wear it other ways as he loves the way my hear looks when it’s not pulled back. The problem with this is that my hair just irritates me when it’s falling into my face, plus it’s just easier to throw it into a ponytail when I get out of the shower instead of dealing with long blow dryer times. Now that I got the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® and the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer I’m able to create easy new looks that are a compromise for the both of us.

Infiniti Pro by Conair 3Q Brushless Motor Dryer and Conair Color Match Bobby Pins on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

The first easy new look that I’m going to show you uses just the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer, some Conair Bobby Pins, and a hair tie of your choice. Pretty simple tools that are going to create something a bit different than my typical basic ponytail.

Blow Drying Hair with Infiniti Pro by Conair 3Q Brushless Motor Dryer on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

The first thing that I do as soon I get out of the shower is blow dry my hair with the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer. It’s super easy to do without a brush and super quick as well. I was able to get my entire hair bone dry within 5 minutes and it was still super soft.

Hair in Ponytail for Low and Loose Ponytail on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

Once I’m finished drying my hair I grab it back in a low and loose ponytail at the base of my neck. In preparation for the next step I can’t emphasize enough that this needs to be loose. If you put the hair tie on and it’s snug either pull it down a bit or pull on the upper part of the hair to loosen it a bit.

Making Well for Low and Loose Ponytail on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

After you have the hair in a low and loose ponytail you’re going to create a little gap above the ponytail right in the middle. You can do this by just placing your pointer fingers right above the ponytail and pushing the hair to the left and right.

Low and Loose Ponytail Hair Through Well on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

With the other hand you’re going to grab the end of the hair that’s in the ponytail and push it through the well you made and pull it all the way through. At this point you can leave it as it is or you can pull the ponytail a bit snugger by just pulling on what came through the loop.

Placing Conair Color Match Bobby Pins to Finish Low and Loose Bobby Pins on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

To finish this look off you’re just going to take your bobby pins and push any loose hairs, or section, back. Conair makes some great color matching bobby pins that I love. This pack is actually like my third one!

Finished Low and Loose Ponytail on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

I think this look is something that both the Hubs and I can agree on. It’s back and away from my face but it’s also closer to my shoulders which is what he likes. The Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer actually made a huge difference when doing this as it left my hair the softest it’s been in ages which made the separating of the hair and the pulling of the ponytail through way easier than what it was when I tried this style before using the dryer.

Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret and Conair Professional Round Brush on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

For the second look you only need the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret®, a hair brush, and a hair tie of your choice. You may also want to use some hairspray so make sure to have some of that on hand as well.

Brushing Hair with Conair Velvet Paddle Brush for Sexy Half Ponytail on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

Since this look is usually for our Date Nights or when we’re going out I like to call it the “Sexy Half Ponytail” and it’s super easy to complete. Due to the fact that this is usually an end of the day look I like to start out by brushing out any knots or kinks I may have gotten in it throughout the day. My current favorite brush is the Conair Velvet Paddle Brush as it gets bigger sections of my hair and doesn’t snag that much.

Using the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

After I’ve brushed out my hair I start gathering 1″ (one inch) sections of my hair and curling them. When I curl my hair I prefer not to curl every single strand that is on my head, I curl just enough to make each side look pretty with some curls. Doing this with the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® was super easy as I just put the strand in the gap, closed the machine, waited for the three beeps and let go.

First Curl with the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

Once I let go the curl just gently fell loose with a nice flow. I was amazed by how quick and easy it was. After I’ve done that curl I just place that curl over to the side, grab another small section of hair and repeat the process. I make sure to do a few sections on the top layer of my hair and a few from the bottom as well. Once I’ve finished with that side I move onto the other side and the back before finishing the Sexy Half Ponytail.

Finished Curling Hair with the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

When I say it was quick, I mean it was QUICK. I was able to do all the curls that you see there in less than 10 minutes, and that was with taking pictures! I was expecting it to be a lot harder but it was really easy. I made sure to just listen for those final 3 beeps that signaled the end of the curling time for that strand and that was it.

Brush Curls for Sexy Half Ponytail with Conair Professional Round Brush on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

Once I’ve finished with all the curls I make sure to let them cool before moving onto the next step. I then grab my Conair Professional Round Brush and use it to gently brush through the curls so they’re not as “strict” and they’re more soft and loose.

Sexy Half Ponytail on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

After I’ve finished brushing the curls a bit I take just a small section of the top layer of hair and pull it back into a ponytail. I leave a nice sized section on both sides of my face to frame it and the bottom layer on the sides and back.

Sexy Half Ponytail from the Back on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

Speaking of the back, this is what it looks like. As you can see everything is very soft and frames the face really well, while still keeping my hair out of my face. The ponytail helps keep a small amount out of my face while the curls from the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® keep the other parts out of my face.

I should note that my hair NEVER holds a curl. I’m talking ever, trust me it’s been the bane of first my mother’s existence and mine since I could do my own hair. However, no lies I’m being 100% honest here, using the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret®is the only time I’ve had a curl stay in my hair. And it actually lasted! For hours!

Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret and Infiniti Pro by Conair 3Q Brushless Motor Dryer on southeastbymidwest.com #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias #ad #cbias

As you can imagine the Hubs was thrilled with the results. I’m so glad I picked up the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret® and the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer (along with the Conair Color Match Bobby Pins, Conair Velvet Paddle Brush, and Conair Professional Round Brush) during our last grocery shopping trip. Who would have thought you could get such auh-mazing hair care tools at your local Walmart?

Which of these hair styles will you try out?

i never blow dry my hair. It’s so thick that it seems to take forever and then it’s too dry. Awesome to hear you were able to get through yours in 5 minutes and it was still soft!
