About Walmart Beauty Box
The Walmart Beauty Box is a seasonal box that will be delivered every 3 months. The box is reported to be tailored custom to the profile that you fill out. As for the cost the box is entirely free except for the $5 shipping that you pay for each box.
I was super excited to hear about this box especially when I found out that it was only going to be $5! That being said I was expecting to much when my packaged was delivered for just the $5 shipping I was expecting a bunch of foil packet samples. When I got my hands on the box and realized it was a thin cardboard wrapped in a cheap plastic material I was even less enthusiastic than before. Not having my hopes to high I opened the box…
One of the first things that caught my eyes was the Secret Clinical Strength FULL SIZE Deodorant. These are not the cheapest deodorants that are on the market so I was surprised to see this in the box in a full size. I know that they make these in a smaller travel/sample size as I’ve owned one but I was super happy to get the full size product!
The next thing that caught my eye in the box was the Dove Advanced Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner set. While this is your normal travel size duo I’m just really glad that it’s not in a foil packet. This way I’ll be able to try the shampoo and conditioner out several times instead of once and then throwing it away.
To go along with the Dove Shampoo and Conditioner is a Dove Pure Care Dry Oil. This oil says that it has African Macadamia Oil. I don’t recall using anything with this in it so I’m excited to give this a try. For an oil product this 0.4 oz. bottle is a good size sample.
Now not everything in the box was a travel, deluxe sample, or full size product. There were three products in the box that were smaller sample sized or foil packets. The first smaller sized item that I noticed was the Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Perfume. I will say that this is a small spray bottle and not a card that you can swipe over your wrist so I’m happy about that. I can’t say that I’ve ever really been interested in the Nicki Minaj perfume. However, since it was included in the box I’ll give it a try and see how it goes.
One of the actual foil packets that I did receive was the L’Oreal YouthCode Pore Vanisher. I’ve seen this in the drugstore and in the circulars and I’ve been eager to give it a try. I do wish that it had been in a tube, as usual, instead of a packet to be able to get multiple uses out of it. However, I should be able to get a good solid use out of what is there to decide if it’s something that I want to buy.
The last foil packet that I received was this card of Neutrogena Long Wear Foundation Samples. While I’m miffed that there isn’t enough product there to get a full face of makeup to give it a try there is at least enough there with enough shades for me to do a color match and make sure that I’m buying the right shade when I purchase this product. Seeing as how Neutrogena tends to have some of the more expensive drugstore makeup this could be a good thing. This sample is either a super smart inclusion or a very disappointing one.
And we’re still not done! One of the two remaining products in my box was a CoverGirl Glosstini Glowing Nights nail polish. The shade I received was After Dark and it looks absoulutly stunning in the bottle, I can’t wait to test it on the nails. While this polish is smaller than CoverGirl’s other polishes, the Glosstini’s are actually sold this size in stores so technically this is another full size item.
The final item, and full size item, in the box was a L’Oreal Glossy Balm. I’ve seen these in the drugstore and have been very interested in trying them out so I was super excited to see this in the box. The shade that I received was Pink Me Up and as you can see from the photo above it swatches out beautifully.

I don’t know if I mentioned that not every Walmart Beauty Box is the exact same. While there are similar items, I’ve seen several boxes with the deodorant and different L’Oreal products, I believe that most boxes are different. That being said my Fall Walmart Beauty Box cost me just the $5 for shipping and I received $22.59 worth of products. My favorite item from this box is actually a tie between the CoverGirl nail polish and the L’Oreal Glossy Balm. Both are newer products and are great for Fall so I can’t wait to use them. My least favorite item would probably be the Neutrogena Long Wear Foundation sample mainly because you can’t get a full use out of it to see how you like it.
My nailpolish didn’t have a sticker on it so it was a big mystery for me, thanks for solving! I got a nude color for the glossy balm and it is awesome!

I’ve seen a lot of great reviews for this box from Walmart. Not bad at all for $5!
We also have that similar subscription to beauty boxes here. I love getting surprises. The products are good and are mostly new to the market. I’ve been also wanting to try the L’Oreal Glossy Balm.

I love the nail polish. $5 for a box like that is pretty amazing. I have seen other beauty boxes that sell for $19.99 and have less than what you got.
