Pretty Little Beauty Swap Reveal on southeastbymidwest.com #beauty #beautyblogger #bblogger #swap

When I learned that Angela from Hairspray and Highheels, Chelsee from Southern Beauty Guide, and Justine from Sleepy Single Girl were doing another round of their Pretty Little Beauty Swap I had to signup. The Pretty Little Beauty Swap is a bi-monthly swap that focuses on beauty products. The great thing is they give you a few weeks to get to know your partner to see what they like and then you build them a package. The package has to be at least worth $15, must include two full-size items, and can include items from your past subscription boxes (as long as you think it’s something your partner would like).

I was partnered with Rachel from Rainy Days and Rubber Ducks and we emailed back and forth for awhile getting to know each other. I will admit that my Gmail just didn’t like Rachel so we didn’t get to email a lot of times because Gmail kept throwing her messages into the spam folder. Still even with that issue we both were able to get our boxes out on time. To see what I got her head over to her blog by clicking here.

Pretty Little Beauty Swap The Body Shop Bag on southeastbymidwest.com #beauty #beautyblogger #bblogger #swap #bodyshop

As you can see Rachel sent all of my stuff in this super cute bag from The Body Shop. To be honest I didn’t even realize they made little bags like this. I think this will look great with my other makeup bags.

Pretty Little Beauty Swap The Body Shop Satsuma Collection on southeastbymidwest.com #beauty #beautyblogger #bblogger #swap #bodyshop #satsuma

The Satsuma collection is one of my favorite scents from The Body Shop so seeing these in the bag was a treat. I haven’t tried their spray fragrances before so the little bottle of perfume is a newbie for me. I actually just ran out of the Satsuma shower gel so I was super excited to see that.

Pretty Little Beauty Swap Subscription Box Samples on southeastbymidwest.com #beauty #beautyblogger #bblogger #swap #nickak #folledejoie #exuviance

Rachel sent me a few things from previous subscription boxes, not faulting that because I did the same thing! I am eager to try out this Age Reverse stuff. I always like new things to try!

Pretty Little Beauty Swap Suave Moroccan Infusion Oil and Essie Nail Polish in Navigate Her on southeastbymidwest.com #beauty #beautyblogger #bblogger #swap #suave #essie

The last two things that Rachel sent me was the Suave Moroccan Infusion Oil and an Essie polish in Navigate Her. I have been wanting to try the Suave Moroccan Infusion Oil since I first saw it on Angela’s blog, check out that post here, but I can never find it in stock around here so this was an awesome get. I’m also a huge Essie polish fan so seeing an Essie of any shade is great. I actually haven’t seen Navigate Her in any of the stores around me so I can’t wait to swatch it out.

Now that looks like fun! I was participating in something similar for food bloggers. I have just started my first beauty subscription and received Ipsy last week. I also get a ton of products from other partners and sponsors. While getting to know other bloggers for my other website, this would be a great way to share those products too! Who doesnt love a little bonus pampering product.

Yellow polishes are very hit and miss and I hate when they make your nails look icky. I found the best thing to do with a yellow is to pair it with a pretty navy blue as an accent nail or a Colorful French Manicure 🙂
