Katniss Catching Fire Makeup Tutorial

Katniss Catching Fire Makeup Tutorial on southeastbymidwest.com

Due to the fact that Catching Fire comes out TOMORROW! (I’m so stinking excited btw) I thought we’d take a one day break from the Holiday Gift Guides and I’d bring you a makeup tutorial. This is the Katniss Catching Fire Makeup Tutorial, and is a look I did inspired by one of the looks Katniss wears in the movie. Here’s the specific Katniss look that I’ll be recreating. Also, it should be noted that this is a one brand tutorial which means all of the products, except the false eyelashes, are from one brand. This one brand tutorial is…CoverGirl.

The Tutorial:

To see the full on tutorial you’ll need to watch the video above. I do apologize ahead of time for the amount of time I spend with my head bowed, I’m going to try and work on that. Below you’ll find a list of what I used and links of where to purchase them.

1 | CoverGirl 3-in-1 Outlast Foundation in 805 Ivory

2 | CoverGirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencil in Red-Hot

3 | CoverGirl Flamed Out Shadow Pot in Red-Hot

4 | CoverGirl Ink It Eyeliner in Black Ink

5 | CoverGirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencil in Crystal Flame

6 | CoverGirl Flamed Out Mascara in Black Blaze

7 | Ardell Edgy Eyelashes in 401

8 | CoverGirl Instant Cheekbones Blush in Refined Rose

9 | CoverGirl Blast Flipstick in Perky

Will you be going to see Catching Fire in theaters?

I won’t be seeing Catching Fire – I don’t watch movies cecause I’m totally blind and English is not my native language. The reason I bring this up is I am not able to comment much on your video for the same reasons. Judging from my concept of color form when I could see, it seems like a great combo.

I do like it when make up helps bring out the beauty of a person’s eyes. I’ll have to try this the next time my husband and i go out on a date.

I am not going to see the movie, but I read the three books and found them very exciting. Your makeover seemed like a lot of fun.

Very cool tutorial! I’m always jealous of those that can wear awesome eye makeup; my eyes are so sensitive that I’ve never been able to get away with more than mascara.

What a neat tutorial! Great for movie fans that wear make up. I am torn about seeing the movie — I have seen the first one, but wanted to catch up with reading the books before I saw anymore. Now that it’s out, I really want to go though!

You can totally see the movie without having read the books. They did leave out a few things from the books, however, they did a great job of not only including most of the stuff but it was just as I pictured it!
