My Recommendation of Real Techniques Brushes

I’ve always been a praponent of the “Ditch the Cheap Applicators and Grab a Good Makeup Brush” school of makeup. While that is a topic for another post {hint: one coming up shortly} the topic of this specific post is one of my favorite makeup brands, Real Techinques. Real Techniques is a line of brushes that were created by YouTube beauty guru Samantha Chapman. While this post is just a list of my favorite brushes of the series if you’d like a more in depth review or tutorial on them feel free to leave me a comment down below!

The Starter Kit

The first set of brushes, upper left corner, is the Starter Kit Set of brushes. This kit contains five brushes the deluxe crease brush, the base shadow brush, the accent brush, the pixel-point eyeliner brush, and the brow brush. A great kit to start out an eye brush collection with.

The Powder Brush

The next brush, upper right corner, is the Powder brush. I do not personally own this one but it is next on my “to-buy” list. This brush is big and fluffy so it’s great for applying finishing powder.

The Core Set

The next set of brushes, bottom right corner, is the Core Set of brushes. This set contains four brushes the contour brush, the pointed foundation brush, the detailer brush, and the buffing brush. This is a great beginners face brush set.

The Expert Face Brush

The last brush on my list, bottom left corner, is the Expert Face brush. This brush is a great brush for those that feel that the Core Set just isn’t enough for them or if they don’t need all the brushes that come in the Core Set.
