Last month I signed up for the Itty Bitty Beauty Swap. For those who don’t know a swap is when you sign up for a particular themed swap and you are then assigned a partner by the hosts. You get to know your partner between that time and the ship time and you either on or before the ship time you send your partner the package you have come up with for that theme.
The Itty Bitty Beauty Swap was done over the Chaotic Goddess Swap that is run by Beth, who blogs over at Living a Goddess Life, and Angie, who blogs over at My So Called Chaos. Beth and Angie partnered me with Tammi, who blogs over at Tami’s Eclectic Corner.
As you can see Tami got me some awesome products and a beautiful card. The card was super sweet which was not surprising as when I was getting to know her I found Tami to be a super sweet person. Lets break this stuff down.
The first item that I unwrapped, by the way did I mention that each item was wrapped in tissue paper?, was this Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss. I love, love, LOVE the Baby Lips line and this is a scent that I do not have yet so it was great to receive this in my package. The reason that I have yet to purchase it is because I’ve always been afraid that the peach scent is going to be to much for me but it had a nice peach scent that wasn’t to overpowering. It also gives a nice golden shimmer to the lips.
The next item that I unwrapped was this Lavender Clay Mask. Can I just say that great minds think alike? Knowing that Tami has a young child one of the first products that I picked up for her was a Destressing Face Mask so to unwrap this clay mask just made me giggle. I will give you a little bit of insider information here, this will be featured in a post later this week so keep an eye out for that.
I unwrapped these two items next and was sooo excited when I flipped them over. I’ve been wanting that Rimmel ScandalEyes Eye Kohl in Nude since FOREVER. However, I can’t find it around here…well actually that’s a lie I found it at CVS and purchased it the day that I received this package but how awesome was she that when I mentioned that it was on my to buy list if I could ever get it and she got it for me? Super awesome that’s how awesome! So now I have two because I just know I’m never going to be able to find it again.
As for the Elf Brow Gel and Mascara I believe that she got this for me because I mentioned that I hadn’t tried hardly any Elf products. Seeing as how the closest store with Elf products is over an hour away I loved receiving this. I actually used this when I went grocery shopping the other day and it worked extremely well.
The last set of products that I unwrapped was a set of nail products, which I of course love. The Sally Hansen emery board is so cute I don’t even know if I want to use it and ruin the design. That’s the problem I have with cute products, I never want to mess them up.
As for the nail polishes, Tami got me two Maybelline Color Show nail polishes and one L’Oreal nail polish. I haven’t had a chance to swatch these yet but the colors are so gorgeous and are perfect for summer so I can’t wait to try them out. I know for sure that I’m probably going to rock that orange shade with an accent nail having some black crackle over it. I’ll post pictures when I finish it.
As you can see I was partnered with someone great and not only that but Beth and Angie have been awesome through the entire swap. I can’t wait to join them for another. Speaking of which if you head over to the Chaotic Goddess Swap blog they have signups for the next swap, which is going to be a book swap.

The lavender mask looks wonderful. Lavender is my absolute favorite scent, so very relaxing. Makes total sense to put it in a mask!
