Some of you may already know and some of you may not. For those who don’t know, my birthday is this week! Yay for turning 28, I must be the only person who counts down her birthdays to 30 in anticipation of hitting that age. That’s cool though, I can deal being odd and a rebel.
Due to the fact that it’s my birthday this week I thought it would be cool to do a wishlist-type post. These are not items that I am expecting to get but more like items I would like to own at some point. I’m not listing places to purchase these or costs in this post. This post is purely to show you some of the things on my “To-Buy One Day List”
1. Purity Made Simple Face Cleanser
This is an all-in-one facial cleanser made by Philosophy. I received a trial of it in an Ulta sampler pack and LOVED it. I would totally repurch if it wasn’t so freakin expensive.
2. Dream Angels Heavenly Body Wash
I used the Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Heavenly Body Wash during my freshman year in college. I loved it then but it was discontinued for awhile, that is of course until they realized how in demand it was and brought it back shortly after discontinuing it. I don’t know if most people even realize it was discontinued. Anywho I digress, this one is totally a case of just not having a VS near us and not wanting to pay huge shipping costs.
3. YSL Shocking Mascara in Burgundy
I totally want this product because the Pixiwoo’s, Youtube beauty guru’s, used it in a makeup tutorial once and it looked just gorgeous on the model. It created great length and volume but gave that hint of color that using just plain black mascara doesn’t give. I’ve seen tutorials done with colored mascara before, heck I’ve even used colored mascara before, but once it’s on and dried you can barely see it. This was so NOT the case with the model they used it on.
4. Milani Brow Fix
I’ve seen this product mentioned in several Youtube beauty guru’s favorites videos, in makeup tutorials, and FOTD (Face of the Day) videos. I’ve only seen people rave about, never anything bad about it, and it’s supposed to be great for those who are new to filling in brows. Which by the way is me.
5. Lady Gaga Fame Perfume
I love the bottle for this, I love the solid black liquid (yes it’s the liquid that is black for this perfume, not the bottle), and I LOVE the scent. I tried it out when I recently went into a store that had it and I just could not stop smelling my wrists afterwards. It’s very much an adult scent but without being to “mature” if you know what I mean.
6. Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl in Nude
Last but not least is the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner in Nude. Big eyes are in this season and the best way to really open up your eyes without much work is by putting a light eyeliner on the bottom waterline. I’ve been using a white for this but it just looks to stark and not at all natural. According to a couple of Youtube videos that I have seen this product basically just brightens the flesh tone of the waterline making your eyes open and pop without looking obvious and fake.
So those are just some of the top products on my “To Buy One Day” List.

I want to try bare minerals makeup, lots of new nail polish and find a good perfume. I don’t know what brands I want but it’s on my list.
