I think the time has come for me to be honest with you. For those who have been reading from the beginning I feel that we now have the type of relationship where we can be open with each other. For those of you who are new…well hopefully this doesn’t scare you away.

OMG did I just say that {gasps in horror} why yes I did. The Doctor that I started the series on was the 9th Doctor. I was so attached to him that when he regenerated I refused to watch the Tennant episodes.

That being said, my Doctor hands down is the 10th Doctor. Ask any Whovian you don’t say anything bad about someone’s Doctor. Why do I like him? Well he’s cooky and wears Converse’s oh and there’s this:

The relationship between the 10th Doctor and Rose is spectacular, I love it. This relationship made me “aww”, it made me mad, it made me laugh, and it made me cry, oh lord did it make me cry. That’s all the points that a good relationship needs in a show.

But then River Song and the 11th Doctor came along and well lets just say that if it wasn’t for the fact that this relationship hasn’t played out in it’s entirety yet it would probably be my favorite.

I swear to God that hit me right in the feels. I bawled like a freakin baby, a freakin baby I tell you. I never cried as hard watching anything else {except for that dang roach in Wall-E, it’s a long story and I don’t want to talk about it} as I did when I watched this scene. OH MY GOSH, the FEELS!
The 11th Doctor

Which brings us around to the 11th Doctor. Matt Smith. I HATED him. I put off watching his seasons for WEEKS {cause you totally know we were catching up via Netflix}. Travis was ticked. He finally forced me to watch them {he was a big poo-poo head} and you know what, I love Matt Smith. He’s great as the Doctor. David Tennant is still MY Doctor but Matt Smith is awesome. I can’t wait until the Serial comes back at the end of March.
Who is Your Favorite Doctor?
I agree with everything, up to and including the obsession … and the sobbing! Well, except that I’m a horrible fan and came in late. I didn’t get to watch Nine until after I had already watched and fallen in love with Ten. Ten is definitely my Doctor. I silently vowed to hate Eleven, all while telling my friends I would keep an open mind as I watched the new episode. I hated him … but then suddenly I didn’t. I have no clue how that happened. Matt Smith as the Doctor just seems to have a way of getting under your skin and wiggling his way into your heart – all without detection. I adore him now, but I will always be a Ten girl.
The same thing happened to me with Matt as the Doctor. I can’t even pinpoint the moment where I started to like him, and going back and rewatching his first episodes doesn’t help since I already like him now. But we’re about to have the same problem again because word is we might be getting a new Doctor soon 🙁
