It's time for the February Birchbox Unboxing

It seems like not that long ago the January Birchbox Unboxing was here. It’s a new month which means it’s time for the February Birchbox unboxing. Of course, for those who don’t know Birchbox costs $10/month and you get 4-5 beauty samples each moth.

Make sure to watch the February Birchbox Unboxing video above. If you can’t see the above video click here

Marcelle Eye Makeup Remover

One item in the February Birchbox was Marcelle Eye Makeup Remover

The first item in my February Birchbox was a bottle of Marcelle Eye Makeup Remover. I actually chose this as my Sample Selection this month as I love testing makeup removers. This one is supposed to be gentle enough to be great for people with sensitive eyes and contact wearers but still strong enough to remove even tough eye makeup!

Purchase Full Size

Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner

One item in the February Birchbox was an Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner

The second item in my February Birchbox was a FULL-SIZE Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner. I actually received a mini of this in a previous Glossybox and wasn’t to thrilled with the formulation. While I know a lot of people love Eyeko products, for me, they tend to not work that well.

Purchase Full Size

Amika Nourishing Hair Mask

One item in the February Birchbox was an Amika Nourishing Hair Mask

The third item in my February Birchbox was an Amika Nourishing Hair Mask. While I don’t know what a “Sea Bucklethorn Berry” is, the Amika Nourishing Hair Mask still has a great scent. I can’t wait to give it a try and see how it compares to the current hair mask that I’m using.

Purchase Full Size

Coola Matte Tint

One item in the February Birchbox was a Coola Matte Tint

The fourth item in my February Birchbox was a Coola Matte Tint. Coola seems to be a brand that is popular not only with subscription boxes but with their subscribers as well. Unfortunately, I’m not one of those fans. I’ve gotten several Coola samples over the years and again these products just don’t work for me.

Purchase Full Size

Harvey Prince Sincerely Perfume

One item in the February Birchbox was a Harvey Prince Sincerely Perfume Sample

The last item in my February Birchbox was a Harvey Prince Sincerely perfume sample. Birchbox tends to give a lot of perfume samples, they do offer a “light” option where you can limit it to just six perfume samples a year and that is what I do (Note: Choosing the curated boxes does not count towards your selection). I actually really enjoyed the scent of the Harvey Prince Sincerely sample, it’s kind of a musky floral scent.

Harvey Prince Perfume 1.5 ml 50 ml $55.00 $1.65
TOTAL $28.49

February Birchbox Contents

My February Birchbox cost me $10 and I received $28.49 worth of products! My favorite item from this month’s box is the Marcelle Eye Makeup Remover, as I selected it specifically from the Sample Selection options. My least favorite item would have to be the Coola Matte Tint, just because it’s not a favorite brand of mine. While the retail value of the February Birchbox was a bit larger than normal, the personal value for me just wasn’t there this month.

My cousin actually got a subscription for Hanukkah, so I’ve been seeing all the stuff she posts on FB when the box comes in each month. I really like that they’re samples from companies that aren’t the normal Almay/Revlon stuff. It;s definitely worth the $10 🙂
