It’s been awhile since I’ve done a “What’s in My Purse” video, over a year to be exact. In that time I’ve added and taken away things and I’ve even gotten a new purse. I thought that today would be a great time to show you what I keep in there as I just got my Erin Condren Life Planner in on Saturday AND I was accepted into the #SavetheUndies campaign again! Before we jump into what all is in my purse how about a video first?
As you saw in the video above, the purse that I’m currently carrying is an “Inspired by” Michael Kors purse. It’s not actually a Michael Kors purse, just one that is similar that I got at a Payless type store. The inside of the bag has one big pocket, two small pockets against the front of the purse that are good for holding like cash or your phone, a zipper pocket against the back of the purse, and a zippered pocket that is in front of that and that goes from one side to another of the purse thus creating another pocket between it and the back of the purse. That last pocket isn’t big enough to say that there are two section of the purse but it is big enough to hold a few things.
In the pockets against the front of my purse I keep things like my sunglasses, my phone, and even an Extrabucks Reward from CVS. I also use those pockets when I’m in a hurry at a store to quickly drop my loyalty cards into before moving them back to my wallet when I get back home.
Speaking of loyalty cards, I have a few that I ALWAYS have in my purse. Some loyalty cards can be left at home but my Kroger, Sam’s Club, Starbucks, and my library card are ALWAYS on me! HINT: Make sure to stay tuned until the end of the post for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card!
In the zippered pocket that goes across the purse I keep a few makeup items that are my go to items. My Dior compact and my MAC lipstick in Sunny Seoul are usually ALWAYS in there (they weren’t when I filmed the video because I used them to create the look I’m wearing.) I also make sure I have a SPF chapstick and a few other general ones in my purse as well.
The pocket that the zippered pocket creates by being attached to the purse is where I keep a makeup bag of “girl” items. I always make sure that I have pads and tampons on me at all times because you never know when you’re going to need them! I’ve actually been in a public restroom and had a person ask if anyone had any pads on them because they didn’t have any.
The middle of my purse houses a few bills, my wallet, my checkbook, and my two new pride and joys. My PlanAhead XOXO Notebook and my Erin Condren Life Planner! The XOXO Notebook is actually a hardcover notebook with a ribbon as a bookmark, while the Life Planner is soft cover and awesome. I actually just received this on Saturday the 8th so look for an unboxing video and post soon!

I find the thing I dig for the most, besides my wallet, is kleenex. It could be because I have a 16 mo old, though. 🙂 So, I guess that would be the one thing I HAVE to have, lol
Those Girl Scout Cookie Chapsticks look great! I have a few nice purses but usually just carry my phone in its case that holds my ID, Cards and Wallet for short trips and local shopping.

I always have chapstick or some type of lippy in my purse, if not I find myself biting my lips which is a big no no for me
Stabucks gift card is the best! I recently started using their app so i wouldn’t have to keep up with all of mine.
I’m like you with the loyalty cards! I have a huge keychain full of them, plus a few others I keep in my wallet!
hee hee my purse has a lot of the same (50 lipsticks and glosses, 75 lip balms, hair ties lol). Love those freebies from U by Kotex!!
I have SO much stuff in my purse, and WAY too much lol I’m pretty low maintenance though all I really need is my phone, wallet and keys LOL
This so reminds me I need to get a larger bag to fit my life planner inside.
You should see how many PENS I have! I went to a convention in June and came home with at least 20 additional pens in my purse.

I carry a lot of the same things in my purse as well. I always have my kroger card as well. Now that we are back in TN I have to get used to calling it Kroger again. In Kansas it was called Dillons.
I love whats in my purse posts! I’ve moved my loyalty cards onto my phone, but besides that I’m toting many of the same things 🙂
No matter where I go, I always have a tube of chapstick in my purse. That and my wallet are constant.
For me the first thing I search for in my wallet is look for chapstick. I enjoyed this post.

I carry many of the same items! I have probably a dozen different lipglosses/chapsticks, haha!

We have a lot of the same things in our purses. I have a daughter – so sometimes she puts a few things in my purse.
Very smart and good items. I carry a lot of those also.
My kids love lip balm, I must have about 5 containers in my purse. I’m also convinced that my purse is magical because every time I reach in it I pull out either a lollipop or a toy!

Great post! I have so much in my purse I even forget what is in there also included are some of my kids toys that the younger 2 like to hide in there so in the middle of check out I end up pulling out some farm yard animal toys lol.
The one thing I always have in my purse is gum! I drink a lot of coffee so always want to make sure my breath is fresh.
Now that I have a teen, I don’t have as much crap in my purse as I used to. I did find a quarter yesterday with a bunch of gum on it. Ick.

My sunglasses are always in my purse. I have sensitive eyes, so if I leave home without them, I am miserable until I come back in.

I love the what’s in my purse series! We all know just how much we keep in our purses! The larger they are, the more stuff piles up.
Im always digging for my keys in my purse. For some reason they are always under everything else.
The one thing I have to have is my foldable hairbrush/mirror and lipstick. Oh, that’s two, but I have to have both.

I recently switched to a smaller bag so there is not much in my bag now. I am trying to limit what I carry.
I’ve started entering my phone number instead of carrying loyalty cards. I really need to do a major purse clean out in the near future. My wallet is a wristlet that I just drop into my bag but I’d like to just get down to carrying that since it’s so much easier.

My purse is inundated with receipts. They start in my wallet but seem to fall out over time and get crinkled and just make a mess!
Your purse is certainly a lot more organized than mine is. Actually, right now I am using a diaper bag for my purse and there are plenty of separations and pockets that make finding things easy. Can’t say that when I am carrying a regular purse.
