Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil Outer Packaging on southeastbymidwest.com #manimonday #essie #beauty #bblogger #nails #notd

The first thing to note about the Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil is that it doesn’t come packaged like a normal fingernail polish bottle, instead it comes with a plastic outer packing that you have to remove the bottle from. I personally would actually prefer if nail polishes all came packaged like this and there was a test bottle to swatch with at the store. I find that this protects the polish a bit better and is a bit more sanitary, in my opinion at least. One thing to note is that there are instructions on the back of the package that tells you exactly how to use the product.

Just because the Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil differs from other Essie products by having the outer packaging that doesn’t mean Essie skimped on the packaging of the bottle. The Apricot Cuticle Oil has the same bottle shape, size, and Essie engraving that all their polishes do. However, the Apricot Cuticle Oil has an etching on the side, you can see it in the photos below, that tells you what it is. I think that adds a bit more oomph to the packaging.

Essentially the way that the Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil works is that you paint the Cuticle Oil around your nails and nail bed and then you rub it in. As you can see the Apricot Cuticle Oil comes packaged like a nail polish so application is super easy as you literally just paint it on. If you’re one of those people that feels like you paint all over your finger when you apply nail polish, I’m one of those too so don’t worry, then you’ll love using this product as that’s what you’re meant to do with this. Most importantly though, don’t forget to rub it into your cuticles after applying!!

Overall I really like the Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil for multiple reasons. The scent isn’t overly harsh, as a matter-of-fact this actually has a very pleasant scent to it. The packaging is just great, even without the outer packaging the bottle will still look super cute on my shelf. Lastly, application is a breeze with this product and it’s actually fun to use! I definitely recommend purchasing this product, which you can do by clicking here.

  1. glad the smell isn’t harsh. Ones I have tired before by other brands usually smell so awful so will have to try this

  2. I’ve seen these in stores & have been debating on whether to use them or not. My nails are so weak after wearing gel manicure over & over.

  8. I’ve been meaning to get one of these for myself! I’m actually quite horrid at manis so if this is designed to be used all over your cuticles, then it’s perfect for me! 😛 Btw, have you ever tried Vain Pursuits before? I’ve been seeing them pop up all over my FB newsfeed. I think they do smthg similar to Glossybox but specifically for skincare?
