One of the things that my husband loves is action movies. Especially the Jack Ryan series as he remembers watching the older Harrison Ford versions with his dad. When Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit was announced the hubs was super excited for another Jack Ryan movie and this one star Chris Pine so he was double excited. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to go see it in theaters so I thought surprising him with it for Father’s Day would be a great idea.
For Father’s Day I’m giving my husband this super manly Father’s Day gift basket featuring what I think are a lot of manly products. I think that the combination of these items will make my husband feel like he could be Jack Ryan. Plus these are splurge items for him that he doesn’t typically buy for himself so I get to give him a bit of a pamper as well. I also have a spot saved in the basket for the Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit 2-pack from Walmart.
The one thing that my basket is missing at the moment is the Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit Blu-Ray. As this movie doesn’t come out until tomorrow I’ll have to wait until then to pick up a copy to throw into the basket. I’m actually going to be hitting up the local Walmart to pick up his copy as they will be selling it as 2-pack with a Blu-Ray copy of The Italian Job, another movie that my husband LOVES! The 2-pack will also include $15 off sports tickets at Ticketmaster so it’s complete win all over the place.
The Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit / The Italian Job 2-pack is only available Tuesday June 10th until Saturday June 14th so I’ll have to snap it up quick but I think it’ll make a great Father’s Day gift for my husband so it’s well worth it!

We haven’t seen Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit yet, but we need to! And, the 2-pack is awesome. The Italian Job is one of my hubby’s favorite movies, too.

I think the gift basket is lovely idea my hubs would appreciate that if the kiddies gave him that.The movies are not my hubbies type but i would watch them :-).

My husband actually requested a Father/Son outing with our 3 year old – he is taking him to the Shedd Aquarium here in Chicago. I think it is majorly sweet that what he wants most on his day is to be with his son!
