Tuesday I posted about some of the book challenges that I will be participating in. I spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday compiling my list of books that I will be reading. Now some of the books do cross-mingle but all of the challenges allow for this. NOTE: Some of these books are tentative based on availability and my whims, to keep up with the list as it changes and for the reviews as I finish the books make sure to check out my book challenges page.

Wowzers, awesome book list! I don’t think I’ve read one book on this list, but it makes me think about challenging myself this year when it comes to reading.
Oh wow – I wish I had time to read. My husband takes the train into Boston every day, so he reads about 3 books a month. I haven’t picked one up in years, though.
Wow, this is such an extensive reading list! Thank you for sharing this, I am going to have to find something new to read for 2014!
What a fun challenge. My goal, though less awe inspiring, is to read 12 “good for me” books and 12 “just for fun” books in 2014.
It is just as inspiring! My list may be bigger but at least you’re choosing to pick up some books and read 🙂
What a great idea. I should add a few books to my reading list.
I LOVE to read. I haven’t seen these type of challenges but I do the one on GR that you make a goal to read. I didn’t meet the goal last year but I am determined this year. There are a number of books you mentioned on my TBR too!
I did that challenge last year and got no where near my goal lol. I’m hoping to do better this year 🙂
Great list of books! I really want to strive to read more this year 🙂
wow this must have taken a long time to gather!! cool idea tho. i’ve read several
I’m actually not much of a book reader although I would like to be! I started The Help and 50 Shades of Grey in 2013. I would like to finish them before 2014 ends, haha! I did read the Jaycee Dugard book or memoir all the way through and I loved it! I like real story books like that!
I did a bunch of these challenges many years ago and absolutely loved it! I have The Book Thief here and can’t wait to get into that one.
The other Boelyn girl is certainly excellent. But my real clunker was Pillars of the Earth – over 1000 pages of awesomeness.
I would probably enjoy “Casino Royale”. I like suspense and really enjoyed the movie adaptation.
From what the hubby says the book is NOTHING like the movie.
Thanks for haring! I am always looking for new books. I just downloaded The Book Thief.
I hear The Book Thief is an excellent book and I can’t wait to read it. I’m waiting on seeing the movie until I’ve read the book so it might be one of the first ones I read.
Wow! Lots of good picks! I loved The Book Thief, Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Kite Runner, and Divergent. You also have about 5 on your list that are on my “to read” list! Can’t wait to see some of these reviews.
WOW! I wish I had the spare time to read 2 books a year, let alone that amazing list. Good luck with your list for 2014.
Wow! I love this challenge, now if only I can accomplish it. As a former English teacher, current freelance writer, I love literature but admittedly, do not read enough. I’m hoping that changes in 2014.
I’m a huge bookworm so this list is awesome. I think I’ll create my own from something similar. 🙂
You have quite a list of books here. It will be interesting to here back from you at the end of the year to see how you enjoyed reading them.
great choices! i’m looking forward to reading that orphan book
What great titles. I need to do more reading for pleasure. I want to reread a book on your list The Pearl. I love Steinbeck. Thanks for reminding me.
I am so excited to get a reading list together for this year! I love to read but do not even think I read one adult book in 20013!,
I am impressed that you are going to do 3 reading challenges AND that you already have most of the books chosen for them. I’m going to try ONE challenge and I have no idea what I’m reading for half of it. Good luck to you!
What a fun challenge. I should do something like this with the kids
A reading challenge would be great for kids and could really be tailored to individual reading level.
Wow! I love these challenges! I am definitely going to reread Mockingjay too!
Great list of book. I need to find myself something new to read now that I am off from school for a bit.
What a great list! I don’t usually plan ahead what books I am going to read for a year. I usually just set a benchmark of books, setting my reading challenge on goodreads. I haven’t set my goal for this year.
I actually really liked the movie Warm Bodies. I wonder what the book would be like! I haven’t read most of the books on your list though! I might have to check some of them out!
