1. How did you come up with your blog name?
Actually the Hubs came up with my blog name. I originally had a different blog that was more for cooking and baking and the name really didn’t fit with what I wanted to do a year ago with this blog. Which by the way is totally not where it is today lol. He came up with the name because we were in the process of moving to SC and he thought that my personality would fit in very well there and he joked that it took living through several midwestern states for that to happen. Hence, Southeast by Midwest.
2. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
This is going to sound so corny but my favorite thing about blogging is getting to share my thoughts and opinions with other people, getting to help out other bloggers, and getting to know such great people.
3. What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now can’t live without?
Aww man now I can’t think of anything. I probably could have named like fifty things if I hadn’t read this question. Crud. Umm. I guess I’m going to go with PicMonkey.
4. Facebook or Twitter? Why?
Actually neither. I’m such a rebel I tell ya. Seriously though Facebook has so many problems right now that it isn’t even funny. I have to pay for people subscribed to my page or who are on my friends list to see my posts but yet I get “sponsored ads” that Facebook thinks I’ll like in my feed all the time. Facebook here’s a clue: If I liked it… I would have LIKED the page, how about you let me see stuff the pages I actually LIKE and stop telling me how to live my life!!
Twitter moves soooo fast. There are a lot of people that I follow for giveaways and the like, however, there are a lot of people that I follow because I actually like seeing what they got going on. I just can’t be on Twitter all the time and so I miss a lot of tweets and for a person that has OCD that’s not good.
5. If one celeb read your blog who would you want it to be?
If P!nk read my blog I would die a happy fan girl. I’ve been a fan of hers since her Can’t Take Me Home album so for her to read my blog and comment on it would be awesome. Oh and I would also be happy if David Tennant or Matt Smith read my blog but I just don’t see them caring about makeup or fashion 😉
6. What is something that you want people to know about your blog?
Something that I would want people to know about my blog is that while I do cover beauty and fashion there may be times when lifestyle type posts (book reviews, recipes, life posts, etc.) may pop in. Please stay and enjoy as I share my interests with you.
