Review of Colgate Optic White

Sent for Review

As stated in my Influenster Sugar ‘n Spice VoxBox post I received the toothpaste, toothbrush, and mouthwash (along with a few other items but this post isn’t about those) for free to review. That being said everything in this review (and others before and after it) are completely my own opinion.
Now that I’ve had time to use the Colgate Optic White Regimen for awhile I’ve had time to form my own in depth opinions of them. That is what this post is about today, my review/opinions of the set, and hopefully it’ll give y’all an insight on the products so that you can make the decision for yourself.
I’m going to start with the bad stuff so that I can end on a good note.

The Mouthwash

I tried the mouthwash twice and neither time did I like it. It had a bitter taste, it set my mouth on fire and it didn’t go away quickly, but the worst part was that it made me gag horribly. The experience was just something that I do not want to repeat ever again. I’m going to let Travis use it and if he doesn’t have a problem with it he can have it.
For myself, I will not be purchasing this product again and as a recommendation I would have to say try a trial or travel size before purchasing the full size product to make sure the taste isn’t to bad for you.

The Toothpaste

My experience with the Colgate Optic White toothpaste was a lot better than the mouthwash experience. Still not great but better. The forumla of the toothpaste was a nice consistency and one that once it got on the toothbrush it didn’t try to run for the hills. You guys know what I’m talking about right? When you put a strip of toothpaste on the brush and once you start to use it just runs down the toothbrush or your face? Yeah, that totally didn’t happen here which I loved. It left my mouth nice and refreshed and after the first use started to show some improvement on my teeth. My ONLY complaint is that I have super sensitive teeth and this did burn a little bit while I was using. However, that stopped once I rinsed my mouth, it did not continue after rinsing like the mouthwash did. So I can live through that because it was more of a tingly burn.
I will be repurchasing this product and I do recommend that you at least try it out.

The Toothbrush

Where do I start with this toothbrush? I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this toothbrush. It left my teeth feeling really clean, it got in the hard to reach areas, the little rubbery parts helped in getting in around the gums, and the cheek/tongue cleaner is one of the better ones I’ve seen on a toothbrush. Even if I were never to use the Optic White Toothpaste I would still purchase this toothbrush.
Not only will I be repurchasing this toothbrush for myself when it’s time to replace this one but Travis is already asking one. I can’t say how much I highly recommend you try this toothbrush out.
