It’s January and that means it’s time for the Ipsy January reveal. I usually get my bag around the 15th of the month (five or take a day or two depending on the day the 15th falls on and holidays) which means I am incredibly late for this month’s reveal. I apologize. To make amends I’ll just jump straight into the contents of the bag.
Nailtini Nail Lacquer
Two colors went out this month Bloody Mary and Frappe. Bloody Mary is a red and Frappe is a nude/pink color. While I wanted Bloody Mary instead I received Frappe (you don’t have a choice.) I’m okay with what I received but I won’t wear it all the time.
Josie Maran Argan Oil
I can honestly say I have no idea what this is nor how to use it. I’ve tried it a bit on my cuticles and it really has started moisturizing my nails.
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter
OMG I LOVE this stuff. Due to the fact that it’s a body butter and not a lotion it comes out thicker than a lotion would and a little bit goes a loooong way let me tell you. The fragrance payoff is out of this world, Travis was afraid that I would hate it because I’m not a big orange scent fan but I love the smell of this. AND this is actually a full-travel-size sample.
Big Sexy Hair Spray and Play Volumizing Hairspray
While I don’t use hairspray a lot I do love the Big Sexy Hair line, I actually have several travel-size cans of the Big Sexy Hair volumizing mousse. I’m not sure if the hairspray is sold in travel-sizes like the mousse is but that is the size that came in the bag.
Soho Crease, Concealer, or Eyeliner Brush
There were three different brushes that you could get in your bag and the one that I received was the crease brush. Now my eye socket area is not big enough for a normal fluffy crease brush to do anything but put eyeshadow over my entire eye, and I assure you that does NOT look pretty, so as a crease brush this is extremely worthless to me. HOWEVER, I do not own a fluffy blending brush and this will fit the bill until I can get a super soft one.

Overall I was not overjoyed with my bag but it was still a decent bag and well worth the monthly subscription price. To add to that the bag itself was gorgeous and my favorite so far from Ipsy and might just be my favorite make-up bag that I own.
