Don’t Trust the B _ _ _ _ _ in Apartment 23 || I loved the first episode of this series. When I say loved, well that’s just not a strong enough word for it. I loved the character of Chloe, James Van Der Beek was awesomesauce, and even if Dreama Walker as June was a tad bit annoying I’ve seen worse so she was at least livable. Then I watched the second episode everything changed. The little bit of chemistry that was there between Krysten and Dreama was gone and while James was still awesomesauce he just wasn’t enough to hold my attention. By the fourth episode of the first season I deleted it off the DVR’s “To Record” list and moved on. I don’t think the second season is going to be any better, sadly.
Private Practice || Kate Walsh, Kate Walsh, what are we going to do with you? Earlier this year Kate announced that the sixth season of Private Practice was going to be her last. While I think that everyone deserves to make their own choices when it comes to their careers the fact that she is leaving Private Practice this season and one of the first projects she does afterwards is Scary Movie 5. I just don’t get her thinking in this, but hey I was never a Scary Movie fan (don’t confuse that with the fact that I do LOVE scary movies.) However the bigger issue with this is, “where does that leave Private Practice?”
Vegas || According to IMDB Vegas is a show about a “rodeo cowboy who becomes sheriff.” Now I do not think that this in paticular will make for exciting television. That being said Vegas will star Dennis Quaid, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Michael Chiklis which I feel WILL make for exciting television. I’m excited to see where this one goes.
Emily Owens M.D. || Wow is it just me or all channels now trying to cash in on that Grey’s Anatomy fame? Emily Owens M.D. seems to be doing this but with a more comedic approach. This series will actually liken working at a hospital to being back in high school.
Go On || John Cho AND Matthew Perry? Together? Umm yes please. I have loved Matthew Perry since watching Friends and I cringe every time he signs onto a project that you just KNOW is setting sail for fail and port is already within view. I’m hoping that these two will work well together and we’ll wind up with a long lasting series.
- Dancing with the Stars: Results
- Private Practice
- Vegas
- Go On
And those are the shows that will be airing on Tuesdays this fall.
Oh, I am absolutely looking forward to the second season of New Girl!! I didn’t realize that Dont Trust The B got renewed. I’m super stoked now!
