Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara First Impression

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara First Impression on southeastbymidwest.com

The Video

Purchase: Smashbox, Ulta, Sephora, Birchbox, Beauty.com

Cost: $19.50

First Impression

If you watched the video you know that I thought the Smashbox Full Exposure mascara was pretty great. I didn’t curl my lashes before applying this mascara and one quote gave me visible length and volume. If you let the first coat dry and apply a second coat it gets even better. I wouldn’t go more than two because after that it starts to get flaky. This mascara also came off easily when I removed my makeup, but it didn’t budge the whole day I was wearing it. My one complaint about this mascara is that the wand is so freaking huge that it’s hard to get the inner corner of the lashes without swiping your nose, and it’s almost impossible to get the bottom lashes. Other than that I would repurchase this again!

I haven’t tried their mascara but I really like smashbox products so I can imagine that their mascara would be something I would like too.

I love Mascara but I’ve never ever tried any from Smashbox! I can totally see how the wand would be hard to get a good coat on the inside near the nose, BUT, I bet it gives great coverage! I’m a 2 coater, myself. 😀

I love Smashbox eyeshadow but have never used their mascara. I love the way it lengthened and darkened your lashes. This is something I look for in an everyday mascara. I’m with you on the wand though. I hate when they are bigger than they need to be.

You can definitely tell a difference in length and volume! I’m lucky in that I have really long lashes to begin with, but I do love the look of thicker lashes when I add mascara.

Wow, that really did give your lashes some nice length. The side by side picture is great so we can see how much of a difference it really did make!

What a huge difference I can see in your eye lashes. At my age I don’t care if mine are long or short, but my Daughter does. She is always buying something to make her lashes look longer.

Oh wow that brush is huge! I was not expecting that, haha. I do feel like with a bigger brush I get bigger lashes though 🙂 I tend to swipe my face pretty often anyways, so I don’t think it’d deter me from buying it toooo much 😉

I much prefer applicator brushes like Cover Girl, where the nubs are plastic and the brushes can’t clump together. I can easily get more volume that way, too!

I got this same sample and I wasn’t too impressed. I like a thick mascara they really costs the lashes and makes them pop even without a curler. L’Oreal Fiber lash is amazing!! If you have not tried it you must!! I mean I love Smashbox but this formula was just ok.

I can’t really wear mascara because my eyelashes are so long! I cannot seem to keep it off my eyeglasses when I try to apply it.
