If you watched/read my Amazon Beauty Haul then you know that one of the items that I picked up was the GlamGlow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment. I have tried other GlamGlow products in the past and they’ve been really hit or miss for me. I believe that one of the misses was due to the product not being meant for my skin type so I decided to try out the GlamGlow ThirstyMud which I figured would be perfect for dry skin. As always check out the video for other information.
Today we are talking about the GlamGlow ThirstyMud Treatment. The GlamGlow ThirstyMud is a product put out by GlamGlow that can be used as a few minute mask or as an overnight mask. The GlamGlow ThirstyMud can be used by women AND men and is paraben, sulfate, and phthalate free.
Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Peg-8, Peg-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Powder, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Honey (Mel), Allantoin, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hexylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Polysorbate 60, Menthoxypropanediol, Cetyl Alcohol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran Extract, Kaolin, Buteth-3, Trideceth-10, Benzophenone-4, Sodium Benzotriazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate, Tris (Tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) Citrate, Tributyl Citrate, Aminomethyl Propanol, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Coumarin, Linalool.
GlamGlow ThirstyMud can be purchased in two sizes from Sephora, 0.5 oz (on the left) and 1.7 oz (on the right). The GlamGlow ThirstyMud Treatment uses three different “technologies” to work Dewdration, Hydrapack, and GreenEnergy. Dewdration uses hyaluronic and citric acid for a deep hydration that locks in and boosts hydration. Hydrapack uses acid from apples, moisturizing sugars, oat bete glucan, and other items to help calm and soothe skin, it also uses hydraclay to help the skin retain moisture. Lastly GreenEnergy uses raw honey and ginger for their radiance and detoxifying properties and coconut to condition the skin.
Overall, I really enjoyed how the GlamGlow ThirstyMud made my skin feel. I’ve used it strictly as an overnight mask and have woken up the next morning with my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. To go along with that I haven’t had a problem with product getting all over my pillowcases when I used it without slathering it all over my face. I also didn’t feel like the GlamGlow ThirstyMud was greasy or heavy in anyway. I currently own the 0.5 and 1.7 oz bottles and as soon as they’re both gone I WILL be repurchasing. If you have dry skin, or your skin needs any kind of hydration, then I highly recommend the GlamGlow ThirstyMud.

Great review! I will recommend this to friends. I have oily skin and prone to bad bouts of acne. If they have something for someone with my issues, I will look into it as well. 🙂

My skin gets so dried out with the winter weather and traveling to the different climates! I need to try a mask like this out to help my skin out. This sounds like a great one to try out.

Oh….ThirstyMud sounds so wonderfully hydrating, especially after months of dry winter weather. I’ve never tried GlamGlow products and will definitely start with this one. I love that it doesn’t feel greasy and didn’t get on your pillow case. Messy products are a huge turn-off. Thanks for the review.

I would love to try this. I am not a big make up user but this product looks like somethign that would be great for me. WE live in DRY Colorado and this would be perfect I think.

I like that it uses natural products and make your skin feel hydrated. It’s not frequent when we encounter products that are free from paraben and sulfate. Does this also work for those with sensitive skin?
Cassie says
Yes it doesn’t strip or burn the skin at all. I’m super sensitive around my eyes and din’t have any issues.

This sounds so nice! I have dry skin too so this is the type of product that I would want to use too. I’m going to check out the other products that you didn’t love too – just so I know 😉

I am surprised I haven’t seen this at Sephora already. It is my favorite store. I like that this product is paraben, sulfate and phthalate free. I can’t wait to try it.
Janna says
I was just recently at Sephora and they offered this mask for me. I was a bit apprehensive because of the price but I know a lot of people are raving about it. Is it good for normal/combo skin?
Cassie says
If used lightly it can be used for normal / combo skin. However as it is a hydrating mask you wouldn’t want to get to heavy handed with it or it might feel a bit greasy on the skin.
Tiffany says
Dry Skin has got to be one of my biggest issues and this definitely looks like a product that could help me deal with that.
